Harold M. Wejuli, the Moyo town clerk says the money comes after a team of officials from the Uganda Road Fund visited the town council on a fact finding mission to establish how the 3 billion shillings dispatched earlier for the road works was used. The money was spent on tarmacking Central, East and West Moyo roads.
He says during the visit, the officials were impressed with the work so far done but discovered that the town council needs more money for road works. James Drapaga, a resident of Moyo town is excited about the money.
He however, asks the municipal authorities to ensure quality work compare what was done previously. Judith Mundua, a businesswoman in Moyo town council says tamarking the road will reduce on the dust they have been eating in the town.
