Court bailiffs representing Ugachick, a poultry breeding company have this afternoon raided Uchumi supermarket, Garden City branch and seized property worth millions.
This comes after Uchumi supermarket was dragged to the Commercial Court for failure to pay for chicken supplied to it by Ugachick poultry breeders.
In the suit, Ugachick demands Uchumi over Shs185million.

Sources at Ugachick poultry breeders reveal that the supermarket has since failed to clear the debt thus causing financial loss to the business.
