Scanad, the leading sub-Saharan integrated communication agency has received 4 prestigious awards at the just concluded prestigious Loeries Awards 2014, held in Cape Town, South Africa.
Through its Ugandan subsidiary, Scanad received 11 nominations, the highest number for any East African and Middle East agencyand then went on to win a campaign silver, a campaign bronze, a media innovation bronze and a craft certificate.
First launched in 1978, the influential Loeries Awards celebrate creative talent in the advertising industry across African and Middle East.
Scanad received Silver Loerie for its Roofings print campaign, Bronze Loerie for its Airtel Money print campaign, bronze Loerie for its Roofings Razor wires in media innovation category and a certificate for Roofings campaign in print craft category.
“Winning new accounts and winning international advertising awardsare important milestones for any advertising agency. Last year’s silver Loerie for Warid Telecom, gave us great motivation to achieve more.We have won big this year. We are now the most awarded agency in the Africa and Middle East region and that is something that we are all proud of,” said Amol Kulkarni, Scanad’s Creative Head.
